I expect when a lot of browser are acutally using such a feature like blocking adverting windows the will be webservers which do not sent the web page contents until the adverting image is loaded to avoid blocking of images which reduces adverting income.

Depends on: 172373
This does not depend on bug 172373 which was a dupe anyways. Currently there is a bug that blocked images are loaded anyways (bug 94118). I don't see any need to implement anything else at this time. Suggesting WONTFIX. Adjusting summary. pi
No longer depends on: 172373
Summary: Block images from a host → Image blocking optional with or without loading
Marking NEW for QA to decide how to handle it. Still suggesting WONTFIX. pi

Mass reassigning of Image manager bugs to mstoltz@netscape.com, and futuring. Most of these bugs are enhancement requests or are otherwise low priority at this time.

I agree, this is wontfix. This is a battle we ultimately can't win. At some point, you just have to stop using the offending site.
