User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0
Steps to reproduce:
Message is: Retry, Enter New Password, Cancel. I've retried often, entered numerous new passwords & cancelled - none worked. I have not removed Thunderbird programme because I am not confident that I will be able to re-instate programme and retain my emails - which are very numerous. Version release notes 78.13.0 32bit.
Actual results:
A popup window is displaying the following: Login to serve imap.telstra.com with username cheryl.daniel5@bigpond.com failed. (Options given are:)
I cannot download emails since 6 August 2021.
I cannot send emails.
The download circle that indicates downloading taking place, turns continually.
Expected results:
My emails should automatically download when I open programme and should send when I press send.

Good morning, I have been on my provider webmail and it is still downloading new emails and I can send from there as well. Trouble is it is not a patch on Thunderbird programme; much slower and setup unimaginative. I have looked through Thunderbird correspondence & found nothing to match. I have removed Bitdefender security totally & still problem. I know from this problem happening couple of years ago, it was a matter of 1 box being unticked but I have not been able to find this yet.
