Details

(Keywords: access)

Affected Versions:

  • All the latest firefox versions, including the old certificate page design

Tested on:

  • Windows 10
  • MacOS 10.15

Preconditions:

  • Have high contrast enabled

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to https://wrong.host.badssl.com/ and hover over the "Go back (Recommended)" and (Advanced...) buttons. (similarly for the buttons after the Advanced section is expanded)

Expected Results:
All the action buttons should be highlighted on hover even in HCM.

Actual Result:
The highlight effect is the same as for the pre-selected color for the "Go Back (Recommended)" button. Recording: https://streamable.com/r659a2

Notes:
This is also reproducible on the old design of the certificate page.

I believe this is now fixed (by bug 1732357).
:tbabos, can you confirm?

Yes, this seems to be fixed now on the latest Firefox Nightly 94 on Windows 10 and MacOS 10.15.
