(with build 2002100317) After moving my Mozilla installation from some directory to another (e.g. Program Files\Netscape\Mozilla to Program Files\Mozilla) - by reinstall, not by simply copying the files - I can start all components, but when I start the browser I get 'mozilla is not currently set as your default browser' with the option of making it my default: yes/no/cancel. Note that mozilla _is_indeed_ my default browser. If I press 'yes', mozilla locks up; if I press 'no' or 'cancel' I can continue browsing/using mailnews/etc. , but if I enter the preferences-advanced-system dialog and press 'apply' (without changing anything) mozilla again locks up (with the preferences window remaining open). Not sure whether this is always reproducible (I have also made a few H/W changes to my system at about the same time as the move so some weird Win2k auto-initiated re-configuration activity could have happened).

After setting IE as the default browser and installing mozilla again (build 2002-10-15-08) everything went back to normal, i.e. when I press 'yes' in the 'make default browser' dialog it works the way it should.
