Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0

Steps to reproduce:

Tried to forward a HTML mail with image

The mail contained these headers:
Content-Type: multipart/related; boundary="0000000000007adbb805c9836e77"
--0000000000007adbb805c9836e77
Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="0000000000007adbb405c9836e76"

I have configured thunderbird to not send HTML messages

Actual results:

Only multipart/alternative is forwarded.

Expected results:

multipart/related should have been forwarded instead of multipart/alternative

Please provide exact steps to reproduce, such as how to exactly "forward".

I forward a mail by pressing the forward button.

If you want to forward the message as such, you have to use Forward As Attachment.
