User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0
Steps to reproduce:
Pin something to the overflow menu
Actual results:
The overflow menu icon appears as '>>'
It is a very unclear non-descript symbol for such a thing, as it has no relation to extensions, and the menu unfolds downwards, not sidewards.
Expected results:
Firefox should use the 'extension' icon that comes back everywhere else in the interface (tabs, settings menu, etc), as the user already has this mentally associated with extensions. I have attached it.
Since it already exists it should be very easy to swap in.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'WebExtensions::Frontend' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

There are (can be) other buttons on the toolbar that are not related to extensions. Unlike in Chrome, that's not an "extensions overflow menu" and thus can't use the more specific icon. Unless that changes, this is a wontfix.
