User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0
Steps to reproduce:
While composing new (or replying to) emails; I would love to see a visual indication that the email will or will not be encrypted (using PGP or SMIME).
Actual results:
Currently I have to go into the Security dropdown in message composition to determine this.
Expected results:
Any indicator that is visible without user interaction would be great. I do not need the clutter of "is signed" or specification of the requested encryption type, though others may.
In my opinion, simply an indicator (the "locked" option) that on sending, TB will try to encrypt and request user input if it cannot; or (the unlocked option) encryption is not requested and TB will not block sending if unencrypted.
One possibly easy-to-implement with existing UI is that the Security icon could change from the "lock" default icon to an "unlock" icon to indicate the message will not be encrypted.
