Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0

Steps to reproduce:

Mark "spam" as not spam.

Actual results:

mail moved to inbox.
Then very quickly thunderbird moves back to spam.

Expected results:

Thunderbird should have done what I told it to do and not returned mail to spam.

Thunderbird should -never- override user commands.
I'm using the current release 78.13.0 (32-bit), I'm told Thunderbird is up to date. Annoyingly, I don't know where this falls in the version tree.
This seems to be a return of Bug 1167711 (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1167711) which was closed 5 years ago.

This is driving me batshit and I don't need the frustration of being ignored by my email program.

Are you sure it's Thunderbird, and not the server? Does the message (the second time) show the junk icon?
