[Snap] [Ubuntu 14] "Open containing folder" will not open the location of the downloaded file

Steps to reproduce
- Install Snap Firefox and launch it
- Access for example ThinkBroadband and save the 5mb file
- After the download is finished, click on downloads and select the folder icon (open containing folder)
Expected result
- The folder where the file can be found is opened
Actual result
- Nothing happens
Regression range
- Will see if there is a regression
Additional notes
- The issue can be seen in the following attachment
- The error message is shown in browser console: "NS_ERROR_FAILURE: Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIHandlerInfo.launchWithURI]"
- Seems to be reproducible only on Ubuntu 14.04

This may be related, but printing doesn't work as well on Ubuntu 14 with snap build installed. Here is an attachment. Possibly some permission issues with the system.

Could you please run the following command in a terminal, then launch the firefox snap and reproduce the issue, and share any output of the command in the terminal?
journalctl -f | grep DEN
