Steps to reproduce:

Open link "https://sns.afluencia.io/site/publicPage/173" and click in top left link that says "Voltar á lista"

Also submitted in: "https://webcompat.com/issues/84200"

Actual results:

Firefox crashes

Expected results:

Without history, nothing.
Chrome or Safari do nothing

Actually, Firefox does not really crash per see. It just closes the tab abruptly.
If you have a single tab open, it simply closes the browser.
However, no other browser does this. Hence it seemed to be a crash when i reality it is not.
It's still a defect though

Hey Joao,
I tried reproducing this on the latest versions of Firefox Nightly 93.0a1 (2021-08-22), beta 92.0b7 and release 91.0.1 but there was no crash for me or tab closed.

Can you check that if you have any addons working in Private Mode are turned off and re-test this?
Also a fresh new profile could help. You can find more about creating a new profile here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile .
If possible, you can test this issue on the nightly build as well. Download the build from : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/nightly/all/ .

Hello Andei

Actually the results are dependent of the CloudFlare Load Balancer you hit.

>nslookup sns.afluencia.io. 8.8.8.8
Server: dns.google
Address: 8.8.8.8

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: sns.afluencia.io
Addresses: 2606:4700:3032::6815:160f --------> NOT TESTED (IPv6 not available)
          2606:4700:3033::ac43:c9d4 --------> NOT TESTED (IPv6 not available)
104.21.22.15 ------> This gives you the problem reported.
172.67.201.212 ------> This works as intended.

If you hit the first IP, then your browser will abruptly close.
If however you hit the second LB, everything works as intended.
I.E: nothing happens because you don't have history to go back.

Note: This behavior happens in either normal mode or in private mode in FF version 91.0.1 (EME-Free).

You can also see that both LB serve you different files, as attached.

And no. I don't have any plugin installed.
All tests seems reproducible in this FF version: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/91.0.1/win64-EME-free/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%2091.0.1.exe

Note: you may need to mess around with your hosts file to reproduce the issue
