Steps to reproduce:
Environment: Windows 10 & Thunderbird 91
Preconditions: Have the application correctly installed with at least an account correctly logged in
Uninstall the application and reinstall it
Actual results:
After the reinstallation, the user is correctly logged in and all mails (and calendar if any) are already available.
This means that the previous uninstallation leaves on computer ALL data and auth info - This to me is bad since the average user doesn't expect that a lot of data are still available on his/her computer and, apart the potential use of GBs of disk space, auth information could be still available
Expected results:
IMHO there should be an option in the uninstaller, enabled by default, that cleans up all data (APPDATA, LOCALAPPDATA, etc), info and registry information of the application to make sure that a future reinstallation doesn't grant automatic access to all that data.
I see the same issue listed but I preferred to open a new one, feel free to mark as duplicate, but to me is a defect than a RFE since there are security concerns about it.

Please don't deliberately file duplicates. It wastes both your and other's time.
