cross-channel logic has been updated in bug 1659691, making most of our documentation obsolete: https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/l10n/crosschannel/index.html
I have a feeling the updated documentation would only take up one page:
- What the algorithm does
- Reference to Task Cluster jobs (existing docs in-tree)
- quarantine/gecko-strings
