do you get any messages in /var/log/messages or /var/log/XFree86.*.log (the
XFree86 logs are overwritten when X restarts, so you'll need to boot up without
X (single user mode or runlevel 3)
what distro are you running? what kernel version? what version of XFree86?
what video card?

I tried this under solaris and had no trouble loading the pages. The pages are
pretty simple; no images, java, or flash animations.
Janne, is it possible that it's just your GUI interface that's freezing, and
that non-interactive stuff is still running? When the system appears to freeze,
you can try a few things:
Control-Alt-F1 should switch the display to a text-based screen, probably
showing a login prompt.
Control-Alt-Backspace should cause your X server to exit.
Control-Alt-Delete should cause Linux to start shutting down.
works for me
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021105, build 2002110508
No problem with either link, going back and forth from homepage to links works fine.
