User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0
Steps to reproduce:
Copy a table with multiple rows and columns from Excel
Actual results:
Pasted with wrong format, borders are invisible. Cells cannot be resized
Expected results:
It should paste with borders visible (border=1) and auto fit text to columns\rows
The problem is relevant. I conducted several tests with the study of the clipboard. Excel, when copying to the clipboard, in html format, uses classes. I suspect that since classes are not used in email, Thunderbird discards them. I am not sure if this is a bug, but it would be nice if thunderbird processed them into styles. An example of the clipboard is below
