Steps to reproduce:
Set browser.proton.enabled to false. Go to settings and try some of the checkboxes.
Actual results:
Checkboxes are always blank, never "checked".
Expected results:
Checkboxes should show checks when enabled.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Menus' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Open about:config from the address bar and set browser.proton.enabled back to true.
