Steps to reproduce:
Open preferences dialog (under KDE on Linux, using Ubuntu 21.04 [hirsuite] distributed firefox). Using standard Breeze theme.
Actual results:
Very hard to distinguish checked from unchecked check boxes, because they are so small (see screenshot).
Expected results:
Check box should be visible (they are in standard web forms)

I found this was due to about:config disabling proton. If I enable it the check boxes are ok again.
