I installed KDE Plasma on Ubuntu 18.04 and I was unable to reproduce the described issue.

Could you try to reproduce this issue with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create a new profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles

Does this issue occur in the latest nightly version of Firefox? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/

Thank you!

Hi!
I'm using KdeNeon 20.04 LTS.
Tried to create a new profile, nothing changes.
I tried nightly version 94.0a1 (2021-09-08) and the same happened.
Tried installing the snap version of "firefox stable", no results

But when I do "sudo apt update", this appears:

Ign:12 http://ppa.launchpad.net/blue-shell/firefox-kde/ubuntu focal InRelease

Err:37 http://ppa.launchpad.net/blue-shell/firefox-kde/ubuntu focal Release
404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.95.85 80]

E: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/blue-shell/firefox-kde/ubuntu focal Release' does not have a Release file.

About my system:
Operating System: KDE neon 5.22
KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.85.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3
Kernel Version: 5.11.0-34-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i5-8300H CPU @ 2.30GHz
Memory: 31.2 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050/PCIe/SSE2

I have the same issue as the original Reporter:
Changing the KDE Theme between Breeze / Breeze-dark is not reflected by Firefox (or Thunderbird, for that matter), but only by some input elements, like the dropdowns in the UI configuration (as on the OPs screenshot).
Restarting Firefox applies the Theme correctly, also changing the theme in about:addons to something other than System-Theme(default), and back.

I'm on archlinux and followed https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Uniform_look_for_Qt_and_GTK_applications#GTK_apps_do_not_fully_use_KDE_system_settings i.e. installed the packages: kde-gtk-config gnome-settings-daemon gsettings-qt

This is an Xorg session.

Current versions:
Firefox 97.0.1
KDE / breeze 5.24.2

This happens with a new profile, too.
