User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0
Steps to reproduce:
started Mozilla VPN
selected Austria - Vienna as the VPN location
Actual results:
IP most times was located in Australia (which is the island next to New Zealand). This led to an alert from amazon that warned about a login from Australia.
Austria and Australia are often mixed up, this is what obviously happened in Mozilla VPN.
Expected results:
IP should have been located in Austria (which is a country in Europe next to Germany and Switzerland)

For what it's worth, I just tried this a few times and reliably got a Vienna IP each time.
(I double-checked using https://whatismyipaddress.com/ which shows you the IP as well as a map of the IP's presumed geolocation.)
reporter, I wonder if you can still reproduce? I see this was filed a year ago -- given that I'm not seeing it now, maybe this was a temporary issue that went away, or a bug that was fixed somewhere.
I just checked all 15 servers based in Austria from Mullvad (as per https://mullvad.net/en/servers/), against https://whatismyipaddress.com/ and I see them all in Austria. Closing for now.
