Steps to reproduce

  1. Set gfx.webrender.software pref = true.
  2. Restart Firefox.
  3. Log into Netflix.
  4. Wait a couple seconds.

Expected result

No black line flashing.

Actual result

About two seconds after the Netflix browse page loads, a black jaggy diagonal line flashes across the background image. See the attached screenshot.

If you don't have a Netflix account, I can share the login to a test account.

I'm testing on Windows 11 Beta. I can reproduce this bug with gfx.webrender.software.d3d11 = true or false, as long as gfx.webrender.software = true.

I haven't tested any Firefox versions < 92.
