The account manager has been converted to be shown in a tab, and it has been styled to look more like the new address book in Bug 1728521.
Maybe it would be now possible to move the account actions up to a toolbar similar to the toolbars in other tabs. I never liked the position in the lower left corner for the account actions.

Might not be a bad idea. The Account Actions button is indeed rather atrocious.

Indeed, we were just discussing this with Geoff int he UX matrix channel.
Here's a recap:
For the account settings page, this is what I was thinking:
- Use a better indicator to highlight the default account (no underline but an icon or another indicator which also comes with an accessible tooltip).
- Use the 3 dots
***
icon to the right of each account name to give access to Set as Default and Remove options. - Rename the Account Actions button, which can now be a simple Add Account, with a + icon
We could maybe think about moving it above the list, and also giving it a primary color would be nice.
in the future, that button will directly open the Account Setup tab without a dropdown of options, with a first step to select which account type to configure.

I'm not sure about this as we don't have a toolbar in the Account Manager, and having an entire toolbar for just one button is not very useful.
I think this is a great opportunity to improve our "in-context" actions.

My idea is not having only one button. The current button contains several functions (add, delete, etc.). I would move them all up to a toolbar and create multiple buttons in the toolbar. But maybe you have completely different / better ideas so that the toolbar would really be superfluous.
Btw: The individual accounts in the account manager could also have a "handle" that clearly shows that you can slide it up / down and thus sort the order.
