User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 start at http://www.weather.com/outlook/homeandgarden/local/03057 and then click on "Averages and Records" to get to the link I pasted in above. mozilla will crash every time. I saved this page from IE in case the content changes. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go to http://www.weather.com/outlook/homeandgarden/local/03057 2.click on "Averages and Records" 3.http://www.weather.com/outlook/homeandgarden/climatology/monthly/03057 causes mozilla to crash Actual Results: mozilla was gone Expected Results: displayed the page I consider this critical not because the weather page is important, but because other windows could contain important apps that disappear when mozilla crashes
if using MacOSX 10.2, make sure to use 1.2a latest nightly build as there's a known Java crasher: bug 154699.

I downloaded 1.2b but it seems to have the same identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 - is this correct? The problem still exists when I run this new mozilla.
Hmmm. Using a nightly build (2002-10-23-08) under 10.2.1, the applet intializes and displays properly on the url specified.
Actually, Mozilla 1.2b should give you the following identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016
fixed in the 10/24 1.2b build
