1730422 - Some downloads fail to save with "There are no more files" message

Steps to reproduce:

1 - Clicked a download link
2 - Save dialog opens
3 - Click Save
4 - Get message "There are no more files"

Actual results:

Sometime it works, sometimes it fails.
Sometime it saves a file and then trying to save a second file fails.
When it fails, I can copy the download link, open a different browser and the download proceeds normally.

This has been going on for the last several months.

Expected results:

It should have saved the file

Because

• I don't have adsm installed
• It sometimes it will download 1 file (such as LibreOffice and fail on the second on (lo help pack)
• it has yet to fail in any other browser that I have installed

ADSM is one of the causes, but that page states also "Other third party security tools". It would be useful to know which antivirus or security tools/add-ons you may have on the system, to try to reproduce the problem on our side.
And it would also be useful if you could attach a log extracted from the about:support page. There is an Attach New File button above in this report.

The fact is doesn't happen in other browsers may not necessarily indicate it's a Firefox bug, indeed it may be an issue due to specific areas of the filesystem where Firefox is installed, or third party that integrate with Firefox but not others. Off-hand, I'd first of all ensure you're on the latest Win10 version with all the patches applied.

Unfortunately, without more details we cannot make progress here, so I'm closing this as incomplete. We can reopen if/when enough details arrive that allow us to reproduce and/or investigate what is happening.
