[Affected versions]:

• Firefox Release 92.0 - Build ID: 20210903235534

[Affected Platforms]:

• Windows 10
• Windows 8.1
• Windows 7

[Prerequisites]:

• Have a Firefox profile with the "messaging-system.rsexperimentloader.collection_id" pref set to "nimbus-preview" in the "about:config" page.
• Have a Firefox profile enrolled in the experiment.

[Steps to reproduce]:

1. Start Firefox with the profile from prerequisites.
2. Trigger the CFR message.
3. Focus the Address bar and write a string.
4. Click somewhere else in the page (NOT A LINK).
5. Observe the top left part of the browser window.

[Expected result]:

• The CFR message is not displayed.

[Actual result]:

• The CFR message flickers continuously.

[Notes]:

• The issue is no longer reproducible if the original URL is restored.
• Attached a screen recording of the issue.

Bug reported seems like a graphic issue not related to CFR and hopefully not a blocker for the experiment

Hi, Yasmin! I have retested this issue and I can confirm that is still reproducible. In order to reproduce it I have used the following steps:

[Prerequisites]:

• Have a Firefox profile with the following prefs set in the "about:config" page:
  • "messaging-system.rsexperimentloader.collection_id" set to "nimbus-desktop-experiments";
  • "nimbus.debug" to "true".
• Have the environment changed to "Stage" using the "Remote Settings Devtools" add-on.

[Steps to reproduce]:

1. Open the browser with the profile from the prerequisites.
2. Navigate to "about:studies?optin_slug=test-95&optin_branch=treatment-a&optin_collection=nimbus-preview" URL.
3. Navigate to the "https://edition.cnn.com" website in order to trigger the message.
4. Focus the Address bar and write a string.
5. Click somewhere else in the page (NOT A LINK).
6. Observe the top left part of the browser window.

[Expected result]:

• The CFR message is not displayed.

[Actual result]:

• The CFR message flickers continuously.

[Notes]:

• Attached a screen recording of the issue.

Hi Punam I have tested this issue using the CFR "Thank You" message and it seems that is not reproducible. Attached a screen recording of the current behavior.

Tested using the latest Firefox Beta (103.0b4 Build ID - 20220703190044).
