Steps to reproduce:
This bug is probably related to bug 1719532. Firefox not remembering the tab bar position is not the worst issue I can imagine, but it can be very annoying. Especially since Firefox is so stable and memory efficient that having many tabs open does not affect system performance the least :-)
Steps to reproduce:
Open twice as many tabs as the tab bar can show.
Scroll the tab bar with the right side arrowhead all the way to the right.
Activate a tab a few tabs to the left of the rightmost tab.
|<|tab30|tab31|active_tab|tab33|tab34|tab35|tab36|>|
Close Firefox and start it again.
Actual results:
After startup, the tab bar will have been scrolled to the left, so that the active tab is now the rightmost tab.
|<|tab26|tab27|tab28|tab29|tab30|tab31|active_tab|>|
Expected results:
The tab bar should not scroll to align the active tab to the right side.
|<|tab30|tab31|active_tab|tab33|tab34|tab35|tab36|>|
