Mail scroll bar does not follow up with the newly arrived messages

Details
How to reproduce:
- Send self mail consisting of at least 5 messages to recognize the bug better
- Observe as the scroll bar stays still with an old last message, however new
messages are left behind and are not shown.
I would have to manually scroll down to see my new messages. URL provided (an
image) tries to show this bug visually.
