Details

It started happening in the last 24-48 hours. While watching videos on YT, I had to forcefully shutdown my Macbook 13 because it became completely unresponsive. The evening before I managed to kill Firefox before that happened (memory had a process using 85GB of memory at that point).

Nightly 20210923214525 on macOS 11.6 (20G165), Macbook just restarted, and playing the first video over YT.

After only a few minutes, in about:process I see a Data Decoder process growing way too quick. In macOS monitoring I see a process (Firefox NightlyCP RDD Process), whose memory usage grows about 0.01GB/s
