Mozilla halts with 100? cpu usage for about 30 seconds. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start mozilla clean install deleted all prefs and the mozilla.org folder and the 2 mozilla files in winnt. 2. browse to any page. 3. Chose a link and open in in new tab. Actual Results: Mozilla hangs for 30 seconds. Expected Results: Done it without delay.

Actually it was solved with a reboot but it is quite easy to recreate. Install mozilla 1.1 start it quit it uninstall it and install the latest nightly build. start it and it will be extremely slow during the mentioned operations. reboot and it returns to normal.
Mats, are you still experiencing this with a new build? What about using a new profile?
