From the investigation so far, we know that the performance of software decoding for vp9 doesn't perform pretty well specially for 4k+ video on Linux. Therefore, we want to know how many user will use software decoding for those different video codec, who are more likly to encounter bad watching experience on 4k+ vp9.

Yes.

Yes. This collection is Telemetry so can be controlled through Firefox's Preferences.

No. This collection will expire in Firefox 100.
