RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 171441

Details

With the recent snapshots of 08-Oct-2002 13:10 and the day before I am not able
to download files. It worked with the version I had before (Mozilla 1.1). The
error message is: <Path/to/temporary file> could not be saved because the source
file could not be read.

The Path exists. The TEMP dir was hidden- I removed the "hidden" flag for all
dir's in the path but it still does not work.

If I right click on the file and choose "Save link as" I get a file dialog but
when clicking of nothing happens, neither an error message nor is the file saved.
Delete the compreg.dat in your /Mozilla/components/ folder while Mozilla is shut
down and it should work again.
