User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0

Steps to reproduce:

Upgrade from TH 78 to TH 91 with a RSS feed whose icon is an animated gif (actually this one: https://hackstock.net/podcast.xml).

Actual results:

Very high cpu usage when unfolding the "Blog and News" folder (RSS feeds), back to normal when folding it or changing tab (i.e. when hiding the animated gif in one way or another).

Expected results:

Normal CPU usage in both situations.

NB: TH 78 already had a perhaps too high CPU usage in this case, but it was still reasonable.

Severity: -- → S4

Did you get the wrong link? I don't see the connection between the two bugs.

The problem has disappeared with Thunderbird 115, but that's because there are no longer any icons for RSS feeds. So I don't know if we can really consider it solved...
