Details

(Keywords: access)

STR:

  1. Enable high contrast (Windows settings > ease of access > high contrast > on)
  2. Open Firefox Nightly

Expected:
Browser chrome changes to adapt to colors in the HCM palette

Actual:
Browser chrome remains themed dark or light

This is true for other UI like the hamburger menu, too.

:emilio, could this be fallout from your dark system colors work?

I can't repro this on windows 11, but I can try to take a look in win10.

I can't repro this either on windows 10, what am I missing?

Maybe you've overridden ui.useAccessibilityTheme in the profile you're using? That's the only thing I can think of that would explain it.

Weird, doesn't look like that's changed.
Thought I was testing on a new profile since this is an out-of-the-box new windows machine / nightly install but I guess not! New profile seems to have fixed it. Ignore me! 🤕
