Steps to reproduce:
Launch Tbird after Windows boot.
Actual results:
New messages are not loaded. Message filter (part of Quick Filter) last used many days ago, is still invoked, see screenshot. Clicking the X does not cancel the filter. Must also click Get Messages to have client connect to server for new message download.
Expected results:
Any message filter should have been cancelled on Tbird shutdown or restart. App should immediately download new messages, as it has done for at least 20 years.

Do it reproduce when doing help > Troubleshoot mode?

Thunderbird support forum, expert Toad-Hall solved issue by recommending deleting while app shutdown. Problem seems to have stopped.
