Steps to reproduce:

Enhancement Request

Please add support for the autofillAddressEnabled and autofillCreditCardEnabled services in the privacy API per the specification: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/API/privacy/services. This is also described on the chrome API documentation here: https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/reference/privacy/#property-services

This would be a great improvement for users that decide to use a third party password manager. In such cases, the extension can detect if the browser form fill features are enabled and, if so, offer to disable them on behalf of the user.

Actual results:

Currently Firefox only allows extensions to control the password manager feature but not the credit card or address fill feature. The user would have to disable the credit card and address form fill feature in about:preferences#privacy

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Preferences' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Thank you for your suggestion. I'll mark this Enhancement as New for visibility, and maybe one of our developers can take a look at this.
