Steps to reproduce:
Accepted upgrade from 78.xxx to 91.2.0. Tried to reply to email. Tried to send email. Original message was not attached as specified in account settings - Composition & Addressing. Also, no signature is included for Write function (new message) or reply function, as specified in account settings for the gmail account in queston.
Actual results:
For reply, original message was not attached as specified in account settings - Composition & Addressing. For Write, no signature was included from file for write function or reply function, as specified in account settings for the gmail account in queston. Tried to reload signature file, but still does not work.
Expected results:
The original message should have appeared in the Write window for a reply. The signature text should have appeared in the Write window for a new message.

When that happens, do you see an error in the Error Console? (Ctrl+Shift-J)
Also try Help | Troubleshoot mode.

After several Thunderbird restarts, including for an upgrade to 91.2.1, the problem is resolved. It is not at all clear what caused this behavior to revert to correct. I did not check the error console. Thank you for offering this suggestion.
