User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/95.0.4638.54 Safari/537.36 Edg/95.0.1020.30

Steps to reproduce:

When messages are downloading, some download very slow and occasionally T'bird crashes. Some messages that download contain many lines of "code" after the text of the message. I am using 94.0b4 (32-bit)

What are your crash IDs from Help > more troubleshooting info?

Having same problem with ver 94.0b4 (64-bit). Happened once, system goes into loop. Will not shut down normally, forced to power off. Working for now after reboot.

If you mean several emails are merged, this is bug 1734847. This should get fixed in next beta - hopefully Monday.

Wayne,

I reported bug 1740486 a few days back. Since much of the work for bug 1737487 is going to depend on a Folder Repair action (For many? Most? All?) to clean up the messages which have been munged. If, as is in my case, a Folder Repair option appears to no longer be working, the cause of the bug might get fixed but remediation may still be busted for some.
