I am experiencing extremely strange problems with the download system.

On almost all occasions for well over a week now Mozilla will tell me it was
unable to download because the source file was unavailable. Occasionally, after
clicking a link, Mozilla *appears* to be doing nothing - no download windows
popup, nor does the download manager (despite the fact I have download windows
set to pop up) - although I can see Mozilla downloading the requested file via
my firewall monitor, seemingly as a background process. When this occurs closing
the Mozilla browser causes a crash and the talkbalk dialogue pops up.

I have tried uninstalling from the add/remove control panel and re-installing,
clearing the disk and memory cache's etc... nothing seems to help.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try downloading a file on the Win32 build
2.
3.
and why do you not searched before you filed this bug report ?

I search before I file every bug report, the trouble is there are so many bug
reports with titles that aren't clear its often very hard to find a match.
