Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/91.2.1

Steps to reproduce:

Opened Thunderbird

Actual results:

In latest versions (91.2.0 and 91.2.1):
There are no scrollbars anywhere. None in messages, no scrollbar in “Folders” area, no scrollbar in the tab windows, and no scrollbar in Preferences. Only exception is in the “Release Notes”window. Sometimes I can make the scrollbars appear by resizing the window, or using the down arrow key, or various other tricks, but usually they just disappear again quickly. If they stay, I can grab one with the pointer and use it. But when I move the pointer away off the window the scrollbar disappears again.
I’m using a Mac mini, OS 10.14.5.

Expected results:

Scroll bars should be there all the time when text overflows the window.

Also with Help > troubleshoot mode?

I've not seen any problems with my two Macs

Thank you. All works fine now. I just discovered that it was a Mac system pref regarding scroll bars that needed changing. Funny, Thunderbird worked perfectly for years with the old Mac setting.
