Steps to reproduce:
crashes randomly, no clear steps to reproduce
seems to have graphics issues: [GFX1-]: Failed buffer for 0, 0, 860, 702
freezes first and then crashes
my machine: Thinkpad T43 (32 bit), 2GB RAM
OS: debian 11 (bullseye)
Thunderbird version: 78.14.0esr
I have two other machines of the same kind, the issue happens only on one of the machines.
to provide you more information I startet Thunderbird in a terminal.
Please find the terminal output below which shows the crashing process of Thunderbird:

Thanks for the report. Version 78 is shortly end of life, so closing this as incomplete as we won't be acting on it for 78.
But very happy to reopen if it reproduces in Thunderbird 91 from getthunderbird.com/
Issue could be solved and it is not related to a special thunderbird version
It was a cache issue:
I erased the /home/me/.cache/thunderbird and afterwards I copied from the second identical machine the /home/me/.cache/thunderbird to the machine which had the issue
