User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:90.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/90.0
Steps to reproduce:
FF 90.* and above fails to remember last window size and position. This issue only starting happening after FF version 89,
Actual results:
You install FF and you then snap or manually resize it and upon opening the browser again it will always be out of position vertically and horizontally by several pixels.
With FF 89, nuking the xulstore.json file and getting FF to recreate it seemed to resolve it but it was never reliable.
I am guessing this is partly due to windows 10, as 'some, but not all' other programs exhibit the same behavior. But I haven't been able narrow down and reproduce on demand what in Win 10 is responsible.
For 'those handful of programs' which include FF that refuse to behave I have had to resort to WIndowManager (https://www.desksoft.com/WindowManager.htm).
Expected results:
When I snap the browser to the left hand side of my ultrawide (3440*1440, Win10 21h1) desktop I expect it to remember its last used size and position.
