OS: macOS Monterey
- Uncheck "Automatically hide and show the menu bar in full screen" from System Preferences -> Dock & Menu Bar
- Put Firefox in fullscreen
- Notice how hovering over the system menu bar makes Firefox display an empty space at the top.
For comparison, Safari handles this correctly and does not move the interface.

Could you confirm that this is with a new MacBook with a notch at the top of the screen? If so, this should be a duplicate of bug 1737831.
