Affected Versions:
All latest Firefox versions: Nightly 96.0a1, Beta 95, Release 94

Tested on:
MacOS 10.15

Preconditions:

  • browser.search.region DE
  • extensions.formautofill.supportedCountries DE
  • download latest Firefox Nightly with region locale (switch extensions.formautofill.available to "on" for testing non-Nightly builds)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Reach the payment form on zalando.de
  2. Fill in the CC form using the dropdown from Cardholder Name (the other fields won't work due to Bug 1740510 and Bug 1740473)
  3. Click again on the filled-in Cardholder Name field and choose to "Clear Form" (clearing from the other fields is also not achievable due to the same issue)

Expected Results:
The Credit Card form should be cleared.

Actual Results:
Only the Card Number and Cardholder Name are cleared. The expiry date remains filled in.

Notes:
Reproducible on Chrome: Yes (S4 severity due to this)
Regression-range: not a regressions, broken since Bug 1688576 where it was first reported
This form seems to be structured in different iframes, probably most of the autofill issues are caused by this.

Since the cc-number field is associated with a hidden form and not associated with the other visible fields, we don't clear as expected.
