Hey Brad, thanks for filing!

Any chance you can get a Linux perf profile? Given the fact the privacy sanitation seems to have stripped all threads and processes, it seems like in the threads we profile by default no activity was detected inside Firefox.

There's documentation on how to import the profile into profiler.firefox.com so you can share it here, see: https://profiler.firefox.com/docs/#/./guide-perf-profiling

As I mentioned on matrix, I couldn't sort out how to get perf to work on this machine. But I did switch to current stable, which so far isn't having this issue.

Sounds like this issue is resolved. Brad, feel free to re-open if you run into this again with any recent builds. For now it doesn't seem like this is something common or actionable enough to justify trying to bisect and uplift whatever addressed this.
