Could you check about:crashes
and see if there are any crash reports? If they have not been submitted yet, please click the submit button and post the crash ID here.
Reassigning to Firefox > General since there is no telling in what component this crash might be occurring without a crash report.

Firefox crashes while the main logged-in Facebook page loads.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new profile on macOS 10.14.7 using Firefox 94.0.1
- Visit https://www.facebook.com/
- Enter and submit, credentials, accept or deny the browser as trusted
Expected result: The main page/feed should finish loading.
Actual result: The page starts loading but then Firefox crashes.
Observations: Posts, profiles, messaging, etc. do not seem affected (limited testing). Tried on both an old and a clean profile; multiple reports sent in the past few hours both from profiles.

I have tried Firefox versions 94.0.0, 93.0.0, 92.0.1 and 91.0.2 and they all crash in a similar fashion; I have not tested further back. Disabling hardware acceleration via optimization preferences on 94.0.1 does not seem to help.
Crash ID examples (submitted text should be in line with the description):
- bp-76e25487-f29c-454a-ad29-20f7c0211114 (94.0.1, clean profile, with hardware acceleration disabled in the performance preferences)
- bp-00e95253-fe32-40fd-8a0e-331520211114 (91.0.2 (maybe), clean profile)

Thank you! Based on the crash reports, this is a duplicate of bug 1738289.
For what it's worth, I'd been complaining to to Apple, Facebook, and Mozilla. But since I filed this bug report, it hasn't happened even once!
