Actual results:

Firefox color preferences include options for text and background.

As is, they use the same background color for the main content and for any sidebars.

Since increasingly many pages (including about:preferences) use non-scrolling sidebars, users may need clear visual separations, including separate colors, to avoid the usual migraines from trying to scroll pages (including about:preferences) which use sidebars with little or no visual separation from the main content.

Allowing users to select an additional color for this should help, as long as it works in about:preferences, even if it doesn't yet work on other sites.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Preferences' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.
