Steps to reproduce:

Message list has a neat UI to allow user to select which columns to display and allows the user to change the order in which these columns are displayed.
Also the user can select which column to be the sort key and in which direction the sorting should be done (ascending or descending).

UI gives functionality to apply the same column settings to other folders (individually) or to other folders and their children included.

Column layout indeed is applied correctly. The sort column is also applied correctly.

Actual results:

The sort direction, if source layout had descending sort order on Date column (at least), sort direction is not applied. Folders are sorted by Date (in this example), but ascending.

Expected results:

One would expect the sort direction to be set as well.
