Steps to reproduce:

Install or upgrade to Thunderbird 91.3.1 in Windows 10 Pro with all the latest stable updates (no preview ones).

Actual results:

The app instantly freezes - which makes it totally unusable - and has a mounstrous memory leak.

Expected results:

It should simply work.

When I press Shift and start Thunderbird in the troubleshoot mode, it works fine.

Judging by the speed of your reply, I think you know what to do next ;-)
Most likely, one of your addons is the culprit. To find out, enable them one by one and restart TB...

The problem was caused by the Simple Startup Minimizer extension.

Disabling the extension solved it.

Assuming your problem is not caused by a language pack, yes.

I reinstalled the addon and the problem is gone.
