Details

If you go into fullscreen mode and change it to "text" via the custmize menu,
the minimize, maximize, and close buttoms disappear but still work if you click
where they should be. I hesitated to report this because it seemed so obvious
but its been in for a while so oh well.
Isn't that what Fullscreen is *supposed* to do? Get rid of the OS toolbar?

This sounds like it's INVALID
Actually, is not invalid. At least on my computer, When you go into full screen
mode, immediately to the right of the url bar, new min, max and close buttons
appear. I am not talking about the os toolbar, this does go away. The phoenix
made min, max and close buttons are only there for text and text and icons.
They are not there for text as I said.
My bad, sorry about that. I see what you mean. I get it too on linux build 20021019.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021020 Phoenix/0.3
When I press F11, there are min, normal, and close icons at the left side of the
only toolbar that remains displayed.
Confirming, and changing OS to all (occurs in Linux too).

As an aside, I don't know where the buttons are supposed to appear but they
appear at the top left, as per comment #4 (until you switch to text, and then
they disappear).

Odd, I still get this error with build 20021108.

I'm seeing this as well 20021110 Linux. The Left-Right thing has been fixed, but
not the disappearing max/min/close icons when set to text in fullscreen. Plus,
if you set it to text before going to fullscreen that setting is ignored, and
anything you do in fullscreen with respect to text/icons setting is ignored when
returning to normal.
Also: the windowing system (in my case KDE) title bar is remaining in place now
in fullscreen.

Reporter: if you're using a Windows OS could you check this?
I know the error of which you are speaking and have had it occur in the past (on
Windows 2000) but I cannot get it to happen with the build that I am using.
Maybe start another bug for it?
Bug 179815 has been opened to address the window manager title bar persistence
in fullscreen [on Linux] issue as in my comment #10; any further discussion of
that issue should be conducted there. Thanks.
