Cearing disk and memory caches, restarting browser, etc does not cause Mozilla
to reload a new jar file. Even waiting a day does not help, nor changing reload
preferences, nor starting and stopping Java. I am using the Java 1.4 plugin.
The correct, new jar file is loaded by Konqueror, and appletviewer.

Jeremy,

This isn't a mozilla issue. The java plugin maintains a private cache of jar
files and so on. The default location for this cache is a directory named
".jpi_cache" within your home directory.

The java plugin comes with its own control panel app. You may find this link
