When opening a new window in Chimera the URL-Bar contents should be selected and
key. Just makes sense.

WorksForMe using Chimera/2002101104 on 10.1.5. The URL Bar receives focus on
new, *blank* windows. On new windows that display any URL, the content area
receives focus. This is by design.

Gerd, with this in mind, are you still encountering a problem?

Ahhh, I had 'Load the home page when opening new windows' checked, so I never
saw that behavior, which seems reasonable. I'd prefer that even for the home
page the URL Bar would have focus (I am used to that from OmniWeb and thought it
was handy), but I can see the logic of the current behavior. Guess I will turn
of the automatic home page loading.
