User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:94.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/94.0
Steps to reproduce:
Loading Thunderbird, I keep getting a message that Thunderbird was unable to update my version automatically.
Actual results:
I download and install 91.3.2 and it shows I have the latest version installed but continues to prompt me to download it each time I load Thunderbird.
Expected results:
I should not be getting the message to manually update

Check Help | About to make sure you are actually running the latest version you installed.

This is an ongoing problem for me also, in all of the recent versions, but not sure exactly when it started. Currently running "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/91.9.0", build ID 20220502180952, and it pops up sometimes when the current version is already installed.
I thought I'd better add to this so it isn't left hanging on my behalf... No longer a problem for me after fixing the appropriate registry entry. All good for me with 91.13.1.
